to the Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee is responsible. The key subcommittee
or the EPW for consideration of these issues is Fisheries, Wildlife, and Water.
In the House, jurisdiction over
drinking water infrastructure is shared by the Energy and Commerce Committee, and its
Water Resources and the Environment subcommittee; and the Transportation and
Infrastructure Committee, and its Environment and Hazardous Materials subcommittee.
